Again we wish to thank our Event Partners:

This event is made possible by Hockey Alberta Foundation's Every Kid Every Community Program.  Thank you HAF!!!  Without your support this event would not have been possible.

We extend deep gratitude to our key partners for their amazing support of this event:

United Cycle

Sport Central

City of Leduc

County of Leduc

We also send kudos to Alberta Milk and McDonalds (Leduc) for bringing some JOY to this this event.

A Big Hooorah for all of the Moms and Current & Former Players who served as our ALL FEMALE Coaching staff.  Hockey Alberta is very interested in recruiting more Moms, players and former players into coaching positions across the province.  As such, Hockey Alberta offers a We Are Coaches coaching clinic which is FREE and only for females.  Six hours of instruction (on one day) will result in Coach 2 certification.  There are three clinics coming up - Red Deer, Edmonton, and Calgary.  Check out Hockey Alberta website for details.

Many thanks to our all-female Officiating crew as well.  We encourage many, many girls to consider wearing the stripes.  It is another beautiful side of the game that can bring unique are far-reaching opportunities in its own right.  In fact, one of the female officials Hayleigh Dansereau is last year's Alberta Female Hockey League Officiating Scholarship winner.  She received $1500 toward her university education.

Thanks to the various community members who stepped up as scorekeepers, in particular to Rylan Barabonoff and Jocelyn Barabonoff who dedicated their entire weekend to scorekeeping and countless hours behind-the scenes.

Lastly, I wish to extend immense gratitude to Thor Barabonoff.  Thor's wealth of experience, BIG Heart, and passion for hockey made him a perfect fit for the Big Kahuna job of putting on this tournament.

Girls, continue your passion for hockey!  Let it grow!  You belong in this sport!
