Esso Fun Days

May. 11, 2018

Leduc Minor Hockey Association is once again excited to offer Hockey Canada's  Esso Fun Days - Try Hockey program for GIRLS!   No experience necessary!

Space is limited to 30 participants and last year it filled up quickly.  Register today to avoid disappointment.

Esso Fun Days is designed as a FUN introduction to hockey for first time participants to female hockey .  It provides instruction on basic hockey skills such as:  forward skating, backward skating, puck handling, passing, shooting, and goaltending .

EFD is an excellent opportunity for girls from other sports such as ringette, figure skating, speed skating, floor hockey, field hockey, etc to explore a transition into ice hockey or to build skills and confidence in preparation for their transition.

The program which takes place in the Leduc Recreation Centre includes one hour of off-ice team spirit- where girls get to know one other before they hit the ice- plus 6 hours of on -ice instruction for FREE Registration is now open for girls between the ages of 4-17.  Participants will be grouped with girls of similar age/skill in station-based skills sessions.
