NCI Bantam Girls Invited To Join Alberta Challenge!

Congratulations to four of our North Central Impact Bantam athletes who have been invited to join Alberta Challenge.

NCI Captain Hailey Cruickshank of Spruce Grove and NCI Assistant Captain Heidi Dreidger of Wetaskiwin were selected as defencemen while Chloe Reid of Leduc and Laurel Gollnick of Warburg were recruited as forwards from the pool of over 165 prospects from the North.

Six teams from across the province will compete in the Alberta Challenge tournament in Olds in May. The Alberta Challenge aids in the preparation, evaluation and identification of potential players for Hockey Alberta’s Team Alberta program, and is a grassroots program.

Through the camps, the players are able to measure themselves against other players of the same age and receive instruction from some of the best coaches in the province. For those selected to the regional teams, the Alberta Challenge is a taste of top level competition.

NCI and LMHA wish Laurel, Chloe, Heidi and Hailey a enjoyable experience and a prosperous performance in Olds.

Way to go girls!

Thank you to all our Association Sponsors!
